About St John’s
St John’s Chess Club Norwich welcomes players of all abilities since 1992. Weekly meetings in central Norwich offering friendly games, competitive events and a warm, inclusive atmosphere.
We meet on Thursday evenings, from 7.30pm at the Coachmaker’s Arms, St Stephen’s Street, Norwich, NR1 3SP. Feel free to come along and say hello, we’ll be about with the chess boards out!
Our Club
Based in the heart of Norwich, St John’s welcomes all ages and abilities. Regular events include casual play, friendly coaching, and league entries.
